I have decided to keep a diary and this is it!
It hasn't stopped raining for days now, I wonder how long this can keep up!  Everywhere is soaking!  I hope we get a couple of dry weeks soon, It's just getting worse and worse, and the mud! oh the mud its just awful!!!
Today we took my niece to Grange to meet her mother, we popped into Pennys on the way home and picked up a few bargains.  What is it about Pennys you cant walk out of the shop with out buying something.  Even though we don't go out to parties or drinking in pubs we still look at little dresses and say oooo thats nice and its only €7 great bargain and I end up with another dress or two in m wardrobe, hopefully I will wear one or both of these ones sooner or later ha ha.

The little one was full of giggles today and did nothing but laugh at everything, it was very funny. So cute.  The big one was still doing her homework at 10 o'clock aghhhh!!!

Welcome to me

Hi I'm Mel, a nearly forty something, sometimes bored mum of two.  I live in the west of Ireland, I like to ride my horse.  I like to show jump, cross country, dressage, hunt, and generally if I'm around my horse I'm a much nicer person!  My horse is a 15.1hh thoroughbred type mare, aged between 11 and 16 and she is a gem of a horse.  She's got great paces for dressage and jumps anything, dives into water and is my pet.  She's such a pleasant ride and Im all the better for having her.  My little darlings are both girls 11 years and 9 months.  The older one is a brilliant jockey but don't believe it and the little one is a pleasure to have around all smiles and giggles, and both are very very pretty!
